Calm Radio is available through Kazoo, when can I expect this to be available for Crestron and Control4?

The development requirements of custom install means that the Crestron and Control4 driver's features will always trail the DS features by around 6 months; Because of this you can expect to see support for Calm Radio around Q2 or Q3 in 2018.

Do the Crestron and Control4 drivers support proxy pre-amps?

The system has been designed to handle DS setups with proxy pre-amps in an identical manner to DSMs.

However, we have not explicitly tested this scenario, given that only a small number of these systems exist in the world, so if you come across any issues please let us know.

Which QNAP NAS do I use for the Kazoo Server?

We would recommend one using an x86 processor (e.g. TS-251) with a minimum of 4G RAM . This will give a faster response to your enquiries and listing if media from the various devices.

This will work with QNAP's with ARM processors but have reports of slow responses on the Control4/Crestron screens.
