Adding HELLBENDER_0001 config for use with RP2350B. It is the test configuration for the LAUREL design.

Not likely to be widely distributed, this is merely the development version, and is added here to start the testing of the UF2 file format for the build system, and for flashing within the configurator.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Added support for the HELBENDER_0001 flight controller board with comprehensive sensor, motor, LED, barometer, beeper, and peripheral configurations.

Walkthrough

A new configuration header file for the HELBENDER_0001 flight controller board has been added. This file defines board-specific macros, sensor configurations, pin assignments for motors, LEDs, SPI, UART, barometer, beeper, and other peripherals, providing a comprehensive hardware mapping for Betaflight firmware support. Additionally, a new manufacturer entry for "Raspberry PI" with ID RASP was added to the Manufacturers.md list.

33-36: SPI bus allocation check.

MAX7456 and SD card both sit on SPI1; that is fine, but ensure the DMA channels on RP2350B permit concurrent MAX7456 (high-rate OSD) and SD logging without starving the bus. If issues arise, move SD to SPI0 where timing is less critical.

57-60: Redundant dual-gyro placeholder.

GYRO_2_CS_PIN NONE is harmless, yet advertises a non-existent second IMU. Unless you plan to add one, remove the define to avoid future confusion and tooling that scans for dual-gyro support.

71-74: Minor: odd beeper frequency.

1971 Hz sticks out versus the common 2000 Hz default. Confirm it isn’t a typo (1971 ≠ 1970) before committing.

Learning: In Betaflight configurations, when a target name suggests dual IMUs (like JHEF7DUAL) but specific hardware variants only have one gyro available, the preferred solution is to use DEFAULT_GYRO_TO_USE macro to specify which gyro to use by default rather than pruning gyro defines or creating redundant configurations. This approach maintains compatibility when the same target is used by multiple hardware variants from the same manufacturer.
