The tbow was missing the clamping to the multiplier. For damage its clamped at 2.5 and accuracy its clamped at 1.4 this now matches the bitter calc.

Do you have any evidence in game showing the wiki calculator is wrong? A VOD or image of a max hitsplat? |

Its not possible for the max hitsplat to be wrong for damage. Actually I don't really know why the game clamps damage since its mathematically impossible for the damage multiplier to be higher than 248% which is probably why no one noticed until now. I only noticed because I've been working on a CM sim and realized the attack roll didn't match between the wiki calc and bitter/what I implemented. https://x.com/JagexKieren/status/869214343283564544 248.11=250 + (10 * 3 * 350 / 10 - 14) / 100 - ((3 * 350/ 10 - 140) ^2) / 100 So it will never reach the 250% that was acknowledged was the cap by mod kieren. That 350 limit on the magic is clearly there because in this setup that max hit would otherwise be 105. The accuracy on the other hand would exceed the 140% cap that was acknowledged was the cap by mod kieren. |
