Created 1.8.1-jquery4compatible as jquery4 / Drupal 11 compatible release.
Using the following patches:

  • https://github.com/kenwheeler/slick/commit/2a68c0bf58026d66838f9656d93527046646b4fb (https://github.com/kenwheeler/slick/pull/3674 without this patch Slick removes all events from subelements, e.g. photoswipe images within Slick)

  • https://github.com/kenwheeler/slick/pull/4221 (Vanilla JS)

  • slick.min.js was fixed accordingly!

This release should be used until (maybe one day) slick.js and slick.min.js get a reliable fresh stable release and get in sync again. See https://www.drupal.org/project/slick/issues/3467129.
