Usually, automatic cleaning is only necessary if the config step failed or the charonload version is incompatible. However, the installed torch version in the environment might also change and may contain breaking changes. For instance, torch 2.7 will switch to CXX11_ABI=1 (pytorch/pytorch#123649). Detect missing torch versions between JIT compilation runs and perform cleaning in that case.
