Up to now, the name of the extension's project directory is used for the default build directory. However, this name may not be descriptive as users consider them a detail. For instance, torchhull uses
_Cwhich leads to a non-intuitive directory name that could hardly be distinguished from libraries using the same pattern. Consider the actual extension module name instead to facilitate identifying the build directory.
