This is an example IaC of a database deployment. In this deployment, you will pull down this repo onto your server, and then copy the sample.env to .env. From there, you will fill out the appropriate vars. This will allow for you to then deploy this as a docker container on a server, and have reliable isolation and monitoring. This also makes it as portable as possible, and requires that changes be put through change management in github.
