After fixing the slurm version (but I believe also before that) the HPC Desktop was broken.
The error suggested that the home variable was not found/passed. So I tried telling slurm to pass the variable but it must have gotten lost in the script_wrapper part of the cluster-config.yaml. So after adding the home variable there the Desktop is available again.
