I got confirmation that we are going to be removing references to bootstrap.py in our docs. I will make a new issue to track it's removal and resolve this thread.

Proton team has confirmed that we no longer have a need for bootstrap.py setup. Managing Hosts guide will be removing references to it, other docs to soon follow.
