When trying to get my slicer profiles to match the results from the retraction calibration, I missed that the flow rate in Simplify3D was set to
0.9
(as per the note on theSlicer Flow Calibration
page).It took me a long time to figure out that this was the only (and crucial) difference between my profile and the site, so I'm documenting it in the troubleshooting section.
I put it in between
Travel acceleration
andLinear advance
, but perhaps it should be even higher.
