A lightweight tool that minimizes any window to the system tray. Runs silently in the background without occupying taskbar space.
- Win + Shift + Z minimizes the active window to the tray
- Double-click a tray icon to restore the corresponding window

Windows 7 or later
Head to the Releases page and download the latest Traymond.exe. No installation required — just run it.
First launch will show a UAC elevation prompt. Administrator rights are required so Traymond can hide windows belonging to other elevated processes.

Right-click the tray icon and click Auto-start at login to toggle.
Traymond uses the Windows Task Scheduler instead of the registry Run key because:
- Traymond embeds a
requireAdministratormanifest and needs elevated rights - Programs in the registry
Runkey cannot be auto-elevated at logon and will error out - Task Scheduler supports
TASK_RUNLEVEL_HIGHEST, launching at full admin rights with no UAC prompt
The task starts 30 seconds after login to ensure the Windows taskbar is fully ready before the tray icon is added (prevents icon loss on cold boot or slow machines).

Privilege note: if the target app runs as administrator, Traymond must also run as administrator (configured by default). If hiding fails, Traymond will show a diagnostic message.
