Glossary

• archive: personal archive (3GB): all notes, projects, important pictures, artifacts
• attic: home NAS (10TB): footage and media
• git: github.com/saulpw (1GB): software
• records: a local sqlite database (1MB): personal data, like books read and contact information for friends

How To

add subkeys to a new computer

• on a seed computer, make export-pgp to generate private/spw-subkey-private.asc.
• transfer this file to same place on new computer: copy to USB drive, print as QR code, wormhole.
• on new computer, make setup-pgp to add this key to keyring.
• store transfer media securely, or destroy it.

The subkey passphrase must be typed on both the sender and the receiver, in addition to local keyring passphrases.
