Description

Refreshes the annotation renderer roadmap after the merged renderer-first, region, ellipse, marker, box-corner, and mask-halo work.

The plan now:

  • records the renderer capabilities and fixture-backed playgrounds already delivered;
  • keeps one public AnnotationRenderer vocabulary and defines when to use a preset, facade, or new primitive;
  • sequences region replacement, prepared media effects, remaining geometry, temporal renderers, and live analytics presentation;
  • requires analytics renderers to visualize externally supplied state while reusing shared path, polygon, marker, label, and HUD primitives;
  • gives every phase concrete fixture, lifecycle, compatibility, and pull request requirements.

Type of Change

  • Documentation or example update

Validation

  • Tests added or updated where behavior changed

  • Documentation updated where the public API or workflow changed

  • Screenshots or recording attached for visual changes

  • npm run verify

Notes For Reviewers

Documentation-only. This does not change runtime behavior or commit the illustrative future API signatures.
