This is a functional component style REACT app using Django REST API for the backend.
Currently deploying on Heroku Site: https://averycorp.herokuapp.com

- Python3
- Clone the project to your machine
- Activate your virtual env (see Django setup Resource below) then
pip install -r requirements.txt - Navigate into the frontend directory
- Install the dependencies
npm install
You will need two terminals pointed to the frontend and backend directories to start the servers for this application.
- Run this command to start the backend server in the base directory:
python manage.py runserver - Run this command to start the frontend development server in the base directory (This will start the frontend on the adddress localhost:3000):
npm start
- Create a new branch named [your_name]_[task/feature_name]
- Make changes and remember to lint
- Push to your branch
- Create PR to merge with
master - Heroku automatically redeploys app when
masterbranch is updated
Do not make a lot of small commits with garbo commit messages
Use git commit --amend liberally
