@adamiBs @adobrzhansky this probably should point to version 7.4 (i.e. last stable release) rather than a release candidate?

Otherwise there is no difference between brew install --cask redis and brew install --cask redis-rc.

If this is not the case -- then I wonder how does one install redis 7.4 with brew 🤔

These shall differ once we've released the GA version. We (Redis) haven't published an official homebrew cask in the past, so eventually rc will point to unstable releases, while redis will point to our stable releases

Right! But is there any reason not to point it to 7.4 (current stable release) already now? Since currently there is no way to install 7.4 from homebrew due to Redis license changes 😕

We don't plan on back-porting this distribution to older versions at the moment.
