Welcome to Planet Community — a community-driven organisation for owners, developers, and enthusiasts of Planet Computers devices (Cosmo Communicator, Astro Slide, Gemini PDA, and friends).
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of Planet Computers Ltd. This is an independent, volunteer-run organisation. Some contributors have relationships with Planet Computers (e.g. as employees, partners, or under NDA) and are consequently restricted in what they can discuss, share, or work on here — please don't ask contributors to break those obligations.
Our aim is to develop and maintain aftermarket software for these devices — kernels, OS images, utilities, and documentation — for owners who want to keep using and improving their hardware. This work is provided voluntarily, in our own time, with no promise or contractual obligation of support to the community. See SUPPORT.md for what that means in practice.
