I've added a commit to the master branch that implements this feature. Please test it and report back.

Is it possible to get a release to CTAN including this feature?

ChatGPT has gaslighted me into believing that this feature exists, although my version of the library is the latest and I do not have it.

Please test it and report back.

I have copied the code from the commit into my project and it worked. :yay:

The only issue I had with it, is that it still displayed the number in the pie, and that it needed a separate hide number argument. I would imagine this to be handled similar to how text is handled, i.e. number=inside, number=pin, number=legend, number=hidden.

But that is nit picking. The feature works for now, perhaps releasing it would be wise so that ChatGPT wouldn't gaslight people like it did me :D
