As a work-around it would of course just as well be possible to set the CPU regulator as 'regulator-always-on' (and not just 'regulator-boot-on'), but practically all MT7988 devices have copy&pasted the PMIC device tree hunk which sets only 'regulator-boot-on'). Since kernel 6.12 also has them defined, the test and definition of these constants have been completely abandoned. Thanks to this, there are no compilation errors on either kernel 6.12 or 6.18. If a vendor image boots, the U-Boot env will revert to default. The vendor U-Boot also ignores bootdelay, which is why we add a dummy sleep to allow the user time to drop into a shell without needing to glitch any more.
