Installation

1. Download and install Obsidian
2. Copy the obsidian-boilerplate directory to your laptop
3. Open this vault with Obsidian

4. Check out the Templates in Supporting/Templates and adjust to taste

6. If you aren't going to "Wesleyan" You probably want to to a global find and replace to change everything to your institution (Left sidebar->Search icon-> Replace with=[your school]) ![[Pasted image 20250827064252.png|300]]"
7. That's it!

Most Important Commands

⌘P - Open Command Palette ⌘⇧N - Open New Template ⌘⇧P - Open File Properties (right sidebar) ⌘⇧E - Open new Excalidraw and embed it in the current document ⌘, - Open Settings ⌘B - Bold ⌘I - Italic strikethrough = ~~strikethrough~~ ⌥ [hover over any internal link] - Open Hover viewer

Customize

1. Look under ⌘⇧P -> Style Settings for almost anything you would want to modify
