[Feature Request] Better Tab Bar Integration and Preservation During Navigation #8
When using FlowKit with a TabView, navigating to new views from within a tab often causes the tab bar to be hidden unexpectedly. The new view doesn't open within the tab context, breaking the expected user experience.
Current Behavior
When pushing a new view from a tab using Flow.push(), the tab bar disappears
The navigation feels like it's leaving the tab context rather than staying within it
Users lose the ability to switch tabs, which is crucial for app navigation
Expected Behavior
Views pushed from within a tab should preserve the tab bar
Navigation should stay within the current tab's navigation stack
The tab bar should remain visible unless explicitly hidden
Code Example
Current problematic usage:
// From within a tab view controller
Flow.push(DetailView())
// Tab bar gets hidden after this navigation
Added tab-aware push support: push(_:animated:preserveTabBar:), push(_:from:animated:preserveTabBar:), and tabPush(_:). Pushed controllers now default to preserving the tab bar, and tabPush targets the selected tab navigation controller when available.
