Does anybody know if the reads from TARA metagenome and/or metaviromes are available in a shared directory in MARBITS?

They used to be in `/mnt/lustre/repos/bio/projects/tara/` and `/mnt/lustre/bio/shared/topc/` but since lustre is down I was wondering if anybody already has that so tat I can avoid redownloading everything.

In case I do have to download everything, is there interest in storing it in cold for later use?

Techincally, the Tara data was not stored in classic-lustre per se. It was a symlink to biostore. The current path is: /mnt/biostore/data/fs/tara. I think you still need to belong to the tara group to access this data, though.

Not all the Tara data is downloaded though. So you should check it. Also, remember the nodes cannot read or write into the biostore, so you should copy the data into smart-lustre to process it.
