(suggestion) antimatter reactor #82

Description

@chairlesfrfr

it would be a giant multiblock, three times the size of the naquadah reactor, and would look like 3 spheres forming a triangular shape. when it is activated, instead of just 1 orb in the middle like the naquadah reactor and the fusion reactor, there would be several orbs. it would require 3 ports, one on each sphere. the one on the bottom would be the output. the top left one would contain antimatter (not antimatter pellets) which it would consume very slowly, and the top right sphere would contain polonium. the bottom one is the reaction chamber, a particle of antimatter would be inserted into this chamber by the antimatter chamber, a polonium particle would also be sent in by the polonium chamber. the 2 particles would then collide, causing an explosion which the reactor harvests. this process would happen roughly 10 times per second. the output would be roughly 1 billion fe per tick.

    each sphere would be the size and shape of a naquada reactor btw

    Unfortunately, Mek's multi block system seems to only support simple cube structures (although it may be possible to extend it, I have no intention of doing so).

    I once attempted to create a circular structure for mass production of antimatter, similar to the recipe you suggested, but ultimately due to structural reasons, it was replaced with the current naquadah reactor.

    But this is ultimately not what I want, and there may be changes in the future (possibly a long time later), at which point I should adopt some of your suggestions.

    Actually, a long time ago (like more than 1 year ago), I had an idea of extending Mekanism multiblock system. Theoretically, this system can validate any shape of multiblock, but that's really a complicated work, as Mekanism itself only supports shapes like cuboids. Irregular shapes would be really tricky to handle. If you check the commit history, you can find out that I tried to create a MultiblockValidator that validates according to a specific NBT file, but then I quit.
    However, as I made up my mind to make updates that completely change MekE into another great mod, I may try to realize this idea. I don't know what the author exactly wants, but I may try my best.
    To get back to the point, this is a good proposal, but maybe too easy for late-game players, as it's very easy to produce billions of Polonium. Perhaps we should first add some new resources unique to MekE, making the game process more challenging, then add more advanced ways to produce tons of resources, just as you advised, FE and lots more.

    if u cant, u dont have to, it could always still be a cube, as long as it takes up alot of space and generates alot of energy, and maybe replace polonium with wut a100512b said, and add new materials.

    Yes, I think this is a good suggestion
