Where repos build cities.

Lawbworld is a 3D pixel-art voxel city where every building is a real open-source repository from the gitlawb network. The whole city — all 2566 repos — is alive on screen, laid out by rarity, with downtown reserved for the most legendary projects and the outskirts for the long tail.
You don't just look at the city. You claim it, one building at a time.
Each building in Lawbworld is a unique ERC-721 NFT on Base.
- One repo → one NFT. Once a repo is minted, no one else can claim that exact building.
- On-chain stats are baked in at mint: rarity tier, file size, and a level (1–10) that you can grow over time.
- Generated voxel art. At mint, the server generates a one-of-a-kind 3D pixel-art voxel image of your building and pins it to the token's metadata. No two are alike.
- Royalty-aware. ERC-2981 royalty support is built in, so secondary sales on any marketplace flow back into Lawbworld.
- Signed mints. Rarity and size are signed off-chain by the Lawbworld server before they hit the contract, so nobody can forge a Legendary mint from a 1-KB repo.
The city is shaped like a real one — a small downtown of icons, surrounded by rings of progressively more common neighborhoods.
| Tier | Share | Where it lives |
|---|---|---|
| Legendary | 4 % | Downtown core |
| Epic | 20 % | Inner ring |
| Rare | 40 % | Mid ring |
| Uncommon | 24 % | Outer ring |
| Common | 12 % | Suburbs |
Owning a Lawbworld building is not a flat collectible. It plugs into a live game economy:
- Upgrade your building level 1 → 10 by burning
$LAWBWORLD. Higher levels mean a taller, denser voxel skyline and more leaderboard weight. - Leaderboard score = rarity × level × stars × log(size). Holding rare repos and leveling them up climbs the global city ranking.
- Arcade access — owners get power-ups and entries in the City Dash mini-game and future arcade titles.
- Gifting & trading — transfer buildings peer-to-peer, or trade on any ERC-721 marketplace on Base.
- Battle stats — each building's repo stats (stars, forks, size, age) translate into HP / ATK / DEF / SPD for upcoming PvE and PvP battles.
- Staking — lock your building to earn
$LAWBWORLDemissions, with APR scaling by rarity and level.
$LAWBWORLD is the in-world currency, launched on the Bankr launchpad.
It's the only thing that makes the city move:
- Burned to upgrade buildings with
$LAWBWORLD - Earned by staking owned buildings.
- Spent in the arcade — entry fees, continues, cosmetic skins, leaderboard boosts.
- Used in battles for revives, items, and reward pools.
- Gift currency — send
$LAWBWORLDalongside a building when transferring to a friend.
The supply sink is real: every upgrade burns tokens, so as the city grows, supply shrinks.

Open source is the largest unowned commons on the planet. Every repo is a real building someone poured time into — and yet, off the cloners and the stars, almost nothing of that value ever flows back to the people who care about it.
Lawbworld turns the open-source graph into a place.
A place you can walk through. A place where projects you love are landmarks. A place where claiming a building, leveling it up, fighting for it, or gifting it to a friend means something — because the city is finite, the rarities are real, and the economy underneath it is on-chain.
Our north star:
- Make open-source legible. Anyone — not just devs — should be able to explore the world of code as a world, not a list.
- Reward the long tail. Not just the top 100 repos, but the 2,566+ that make the network actually work.
- One coherent economy. Mint, upgrade, stake, battle, gift, arcade — all powered by a single token (
$LAWBWORLD) with a real sink. - Built on Base. Cheap, fast, mainstream-ready. The city should feel like a game, not a blockchain demo.
- Composable. Buildings are standard ERC-721. Anyone can build their own games, dashboards, or visualizations on top of the Lawbworld city.
The endgame is simple: when someone says "show me what open source looks like," we want the answer to be Lawbworld.
