Summary of Changes

Hello @doomedraven, I'm Gemini Code Assist1! I'm currently reviewing this pull request and will post my feedback shortly. In the meantime, here's a summary to help you and other reviewers quickly get up to speed!

This pull request significantly enhances the user interface for displaying Microsoft Installer (MSI) file analysis results. It introduces a dedicated section for presenting MSI metadata and substantially improves the clarity and organization of custom actions and their associated enrichment details, making the analysis output more structured and easier for users to interpret.

Highlights

  • MSI Metadata Display: Introduced a new section to display "SummaryInformation Metadata" for MSI files, providing more comprehensive details in a structured panel.
  • Improved Custom Actions Presentation: Refactored the display of MSI custom actions, moving enrichment details from a single column into a dedicated, nested table below each action row for better readability and organization. The main table now focuses on core action details.
  • Enhanced UI Layout: Wrapped both the new metadata section and the existing custom actions table in "panel panel-default" components, providing a more consistent and structured user interface for MSI analysis results.
  • Conditional Rendering: The entire MSI information section is now conditionally rendered only if "file.msi" data is available, preventing empty sections from being displayed.

🧠 New Feature in Public Preview: You can now enable Memory to help Gemini Code Assist learn from your team's feedback. This makes future code reviews more consistent and personalized to your project's style. Click here to enable Memory in your admin console.

Code Review

This pull request significantly improves the presentation of MSI file analysis results. Separating metadata from custom actions and using an expandable-row pattern for enrichment details makes the information much clearer and more organized. I have a couple of suggestions to further improve the maintainability of the template code by reducing repetition and adhering to CSS best practices.

The block for displaying enrichment details contains many similar {% if ... %} blocks, which leads to code duplication. You can make this code more concise and maintainable by using a loop. You can construct a list of label-value pairs using {% with %} and iterate over it, handling the special case for Flags inside the loop. This will make the template cleaner and easier to modify in the future.

{% with enrich_details=[
    ("Basic Type", row.Enrich.basic_type),
    ("Source Type", row.Enrich.source),
    ("Return Processing", row.Enrich.return_processing),
    ("Execution", row.Enrich.execution),
    ("Flags", row.Enrich.flags),
    ("Remainder", row.Enrich.remainder)
] %}
    {% for label, value in enrich_details %}
        {% if value %}
        <tr>
            <td class="text-right" style="padding-right: 15px;"><strong>{{ label }}</strong></td>
            <td>
                {% if label == "Flags" %}{{ value|join:", " }}{% else %}{{ value }}{% endif %}
            </td>
        </tr>
        {% endif %}
    {% endfor %}
{% endwith %}
