Pre-release
This release contains a packaged version of the ChatApp sample application which you can download and install without having to build it yourself from source. The application requires Windows 10 version 10.0.18362 or later.
Installation of this version requires sideloading it on your Windows system. If you don't want to sideload applications on your system, consider trying it out in a virtual machine.
To install, download the ChatApp_1.1.2.0_Test.zip file included below, extract it and and run the Install.ps1 PowerShell script from a PowerShell command line. If you are unable to run the script, you may need to configure PowerShell first to allow running scripts using the following command on the PowerShell command line:
Set-ExecutionPolicy RemoteSigned -Scope CurrentUser
During installation the script will also ask you to install the signing certificate and enable Developer Mode in Windows in order to be able to sideload the application.
After successful installation you should see the "ChatApp" program in the programs menu in Windows.
