- Single Panorama Mode – Display a single 360° image with optional hotspots and image description
- Multi-Scene Mode – Create interactive virtual tours with multiple linked panoramas
- Visual Hotspot Editor – Place hotspots by clicking directly in the panorama (no manual coordinate entry)

- PHP 8.1 or higher
- Modern browser with JavaScript enabled
- Download the latest release ZIP from GitHub Releases
- In Joomla backend, go to System → Install → Extensions
- Upload and install the ZIP file
- Go to Content → Site Modules
- Click New and select Pannellum 360° Viewer
- Configure the module and assign it to your desired menu items
- Select Display Mode: Single Panorama
- Upload a 360° image (equirectangular format, 2:1 aspect ratio)
- Adjust initial view (Yaw, Pitch, HFOV) if desired
- Optionally add hotspots using the visual Hotspot Editor
- Save and publish
- Select Display Mode: Multiple Scenes
- Add scenes – each with a unique Scene ID and panorama image
- Use the Hotspot Editor to visually place navigation hotspots
- Set hotspot type to Scene Link and enter the target Scene ID
- The first scene automatically becomes the starting point
- Format: Equirectangular (spherical) projection
- Aspect Ratio: 2:1 (e.g., 4096×2048, 6000×3000, 8192×4096)
- Coverage: Complete 360° × 180° view
- File Types: JPEG, PNG
This module supports Joomla's built-in update system. After installation, Joomla will automatically check for new versions and notify you when updates are available.
