Why? CAA is a valid record type accepted here. NS records are the ones that are mostly rejected.

omg... I forgot that you cant "proxied" cf pages...

Why? CAA is a valid record type accepted here. NS records are the ones that are mostly rejected.

define the difference and use cases of the two.

and I think you are having a tls error visiting your site, right? it is because you cant proxied cf pages

CAA records are used to set who can provision the security certificates, which in my case would be Google Trust Services (pki.goog) and Let's Encrypt.

Also, no. My site works fine. Certificates are provisioned and the site is reachable.

Also, you CAN proxy CF pages with a CF proxy because it's all under the same company and ecosystem.... you're probably thinking of Netlify which I've moved away from.

Don't believe me? Visit the site right now. Any TLS errors were probably when I first moved and didn't yet add it to my CF page as a custom domain.

i see.. I am not knowledgeable of CAA so lets wait for other maintainers, and please, dont ping or even mention the other maintainers. learn a lesson from lonely guy above😂😂
