Context
Any metaphors/colours that you like?
When I created the icon I was thinking about the classic brass Stencils used in the past. But that was mostly due to my lack of design skills, so feel free to divert from that.
What makes your project different to similar apps?
There are plenty of renaming utilities available on Linux, but most are pretty bad UX-wise. Stencil is a pure GTK/libadwaita app trying to stick to the GNOME HIG as close as possible. It's also pretty feature-rich (and I've got a few ideas for future improvements).
