The ability to emit
extra_datadirectly from the library would be useful for educators who want to emit values that are hidden in the UI, but accessible to programs that utilize the YAML file from "Export Submissions". This would aid the development of programs that could cross-reference emissions between submissions to detect cheating (see Rufus).
