Adds a short AGENTS.md naming the pinned toolchain, what ci.yml actually covers (and the CUDA/HIP + model-integration gaps), how to share the warm target dir across parallel worktrees, and the branch-protection flow (PR + squash only, no linked project board today). CONTRIBUTING.md stays the source of truth for the build model; this file only adds what it does not say.
