Summary

  • Rework Grafana dashboard queries, units, titles, and panel descriptions after panel-by-panel review
  • Fix TCP connection lifecycle panel (standard derivative pattern; remove duplicate panel)
  • Rename disk I/O busy time / queue time panels; fix replication lag and query-targeting NaN gaps
  • Add FATAL member state mapping; update opcounters descriptions
  • Update metrics_to_get.txt

Test plan

  • Re-ingest FTDC and open dashboard UID ddnw277huiv40ae
  • Confirm WiredTiger, TCP, disk, and replication panels render without Flux errors
  • Spot-check single-host template variables (hostname / version)

Complements #3 (CLI/run.sh usability fixes).

Add queues.execution ticket fields, checkpoint/journal metrics, flatten
nested FTDC documents, and update WiredTiger panel queries, units, and legends.
Add replSet member panels, structured queries and legends, sync metrics_to_get with testdata, docker compose in run.sh, and local gitignore/provisioning tweaks.
Reorder and resize panels (network, connections, replica, flow control), add a dedicated Network Requests panel, and add scripts to stage changes and open PRs against upstream.

Co-authored-by: Cursor <cursoragent@cursor.com>
Add scripts/ to .gitignore; publish/stage helpers are for local fork workflow only.
Fix TCP lifecycle query, disk panel naming/units, descriptions, replication and query-targeting gaps; update metrics_to_get.txt.
