Summary of the changes / Why this is an improvement

  • Removed the page local TOC as it's now redundant
  • Remove Appendix/compatibility notes as they refer to ancient CrateDB versions (<=0.57.x) that's very unlikely being used anymore.
  • Due to above the Data types could be pulled out from the Appendix and that was removed.
  • Removed standard Project Information, and referred to Github instead.
  • Minor simplification of intro.
