Describe the car bug
A stock comma four running official openpilot cannot identify this vehicle and falls back to MOCK / Dashcam Mode.
Vehicle:
- 2021 Dongfeng Honda CR-V, China market
- 1.5T gasoline, non-hybrid
- Factory Honda Sensing
- Factory ACC and LKAS both work normally
- Honda Bosch A harness
Hardware/software:
- comma four / mici
- Stock official openpilot 0.11.1
- Branch: release-mici
- Commit: 70e157462304e5ce7d03ffbec6cb7f45bf347bb7
- dirty: false
Steps to reproduce:
- Install comma four with the Honda Bosch A harness.
- Start the vehicle.
- openpilot displays “openpilot was unable to identify your car”.
- The device falls back to MOCK / Dashcam Mode.
The segment-0 rlog shows:
- car_fingerprint: None
- fuzzy: false
- cached: false
- fw_count: 4
- vin_rx_addr: -1
- VIN: 00000000000000000
Firmware returned during the current query:
- EPS, 0x18DA30F1: 39990-T72-H020
- SRS, 0x18DA53F1: 77959-TLA-H340
- Forward camera, 0x18DAB5F1: 36161-TLZ-H120
- Forward radar, 0x18DAB0F1: 36802-TLZ-H130
These four exact firmware strings do not appear in the current commaai/opendbc Honda firmware fingerprint table.
This appears to be missing China-market firmware coverage for the fifth-generation Honda CR-V.
Could someone confirm whether these firmware versions can be added to CAR.HONDA_CRV_5G, and whether the China-market CR-V needs any additional CAN/platform validation?
Provide a route where the issue occurs

The vehicle’s original Honda Sensing ACC and LKAS both work normally. No VIN is included in this report for privacy. The segment-0 rlog has been downloaded and checked.
