Configuration

The configuration reference mirrors the card's visual editor. Since v3.34 the editor has three top-level panels — Chart Settings, Card Settings and Entities — with a live search box above them that filters every setting, entity options included.

Chart Settings

Chart Mode plus everything about the chart itself — data window, overlays, axes, and calendar behavior.

Controller mode (v4.03): Chart Mode → Controller (or chart_mode: controller, the same thing as the Statistics Graph Chart Controller card from the card picker) turns the card into a chart-less picker bar that drives every card sharing its sync_group. The editor then shows only the Calendar tab (Sync Group, Reset Button, Visible Modes, Default Mode, Window Step, alignment), the Overlay tab reduced to the Resolution / Group By pickers, and the Card Settings panel — the Entities panel is hidden.
