Note, however, that without the context of an Adobe host application much of the relevant functionality has been stubbed out. This leaves the extension largely functional, except for selecting filenames and saving files to the host. Keep an eye on the console log to see what’s going on…

This is an experimental branch to develop, test, and tinker with the extension code.
Considering the constraints of a web-browser, though, functions provided by Adobe CEP’s CSInterface and related data have been stubbed out. This enables the extension code to run in a browser context, except for selecting and saving files to the host fs (related discussion).
