To run this project locally on your machine:
- Clone the repository (or download the source code).
- Install dependencies:
npm install
- Set up environment variables:
Create a
.envfile in the root directory and add your MongoDB connection string:MONGO_URI=your_mongodb_connection_string PORT=3000
- Seed the database (Optional, for initial data):
node seed.js
- Start the server:
node server.js
- Open your browser and navigate to
http://localhost:3000.
