For my purposes I just wanted the link name, not the whole namespace, so I just show everything after the last ":".

Thanks for your orphanswanted plugin--it's very useful! I needed it to restrict to specific namespaces so I added an "@include_namespaces" option parallel to "!exclude". You're welcome to merge it into the main branch if you like.
