What I have done and why
This PR updates Robolectric to its latest version: 4.16.
Here are the release notes for 4.15, 4.15.1, and 4.16.
I've also removed all the
@LooperMode(LooperMode.Mode.PAUSED)annotations, sinceLooperMode.Mode.PAUSEDis the default (see https://github.com/robolectric/robolectric/blob/robolectric-4.15.1/robolectric/src/main/java/org/robolectric/plugins/LooperModeConfigurer.java#L17).
