FS Mod Downloader is a desktop application for managing and downloading Farming Simulator mods — think of it as CKAN for Farming Simulator!
- Download the latest release
- Extract the
.zipfile to any folder - Run
FSModDownloader.exe - Click ⚙️ Settings → 🔍 Scan for Games
- Start browsing and installing mods!

Browse thousands of mods from multiple sources in one place. Search by name, filter by category (Tractors, Maps, Equipment, etc.), and view detailed mod information with images.
No more manual downloads and file copying. Select a mod, click Install, and it's automatically downloaded and placed in your game's mods folder.
Manage mods for all your Farming Simulator installations from one app. Switch between FS15, FS17, FS19, FS22, and FS25 with a single click.
Playing on a multiplayer server? Export your mod configuration as a modlist file and share it with friends. They can import it to get the exact same mods installed.
The app automatically finds your Farming Simulator installations by checking:
- Documents folder (
My Games\FarmingSimulatorXXXX) - Steam library folders
- GIANTS Software registry entries
- Operating System: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
- Runtime: .NET 8.0 (included in standalone download)
- Internet: Required for browsing and downloading mods
- Disk Space: ~200MB for the application + space for downloaded mods
