### Clean neovim install to get to start of video

**Linux**

_Assumes you have a clean install without a previous neovim install_
1. Go to your home directory
```
cd ~
```
2. Download the latest AppImage
```
curl -LO https://github.com/neovim/neovim/releases/latest/download/nvim.appimage

./nvim.appimage
```
3. Give the AppImage permissions
```
chmod u+x ~/nvim.appimage
```
4. Move the AppImage to your local bin
```
sudo mv ~/nvim.appimage /usr/bin/nvim
```
5. Verify the install
```
nvim --version
```
6. Start the video
```
`nvim .`
```
