[馃殌 Feature]: Java 17 as the minimum supported version聽#16732

Description

Similar to the discussion in #11526 for Java 11

Official support for Java 11 by Oracle ended in September 2023, but a number of open jdk versions still provide support.

I'd like to explore making this a requirement for Selenium 5.

We should first implement #16731 to get a better idea of how much of an impact it would have.

Have you considered any alternatives or workarounds?

We can keep supporting Java 11

Hi @titusfortner, according #16753 with Selenium 4.39 the mimium required JDK is "17". With JDK 11 there is still a bug (https://bugs.openjdk.org/browse/JDK-8228970) which causes an AssertionError while taking screenshots.

Yeah, if we can continue supporting screenshots with JDK 11 we should do that.

Issue #16753 has been already fixed (and I hope the fix will be released soon @titusfortner ?).

And this bug doesn't happen pretty every time. Only sometimes. So it's not correct to say that the minimum required JDK is 17. :)

Well, in my tests it happens at every screenshot command. 馃槈
