Looks good enough to me. Except an accidental format this is all your code anyway, so you might as well reflect that in the CODEOWNERS file too. I'm just going to merge this for now, you can add a separate PR for that. |

The major part of this is the ability to mark block reference variables. I'm not sure if I got them 100% correct, but they've done me well enough so far.
