Reason for Changes
Lerna has a known issue where peerDependencies do not get updated in monorepos that do not use
workspacespecifiers. Since we are using npm workspaces, we don't have the option to useworkspacespecifiers, and Lerna has been aware of this issue for some time with no movement, so we need to roll our own fix.Test Coverage
The bash scripts were manually tested against my local environment.
Additional Information
Claude was used to draft a solution. I cleaned up the code and manually tested.
