Gemini CLI subagents cannot ask for permission

Description

If a subagent spawned by Gemini CLI needs your permission for a tool, it will not be displayed in the chat.

This may be only limited to the activate_skill tool (or not).

Steps to reproduce

1. Ask Gemini CLI to spawn a subagent to activate a skill
2. Observe

Expected behavior

Permission prompt for skill activation

Actual behavior

No permission prompt

Thanks for the report!

I was able to reproduce this on my end as well.
This is not limited to skill activation — it also happens when subagents try to edit notes, etc.

Looking at the logs, it seems likely that Gemini CLI itself is not sending the subagent's permission requests over ACP in the first place.

I'll investigate a bit more and report this on the Gemini CLI side.
