User Guide

Drawing Territories

• Select a drawing tool (Freehand, Polygon, Rectangle, Ellipse) from the top toolbar.
• Click and drag on the canvas to draw a new territory.
• Use the Select tool to move, rename, or delete territories.

Managing Continents

• Use the sidebar to add, edit, or delete continents.
• Assign territories to continents for bonus values.
• Change continent colors using the color picker.

Connections

• Select the Connect tool.
• Straight mode: Click two territories to connect them with a straight line.
• Freehand mode: Toggle to Freehand, then click and drag from one territory to another to draw a custom (dotted) connection.
• Remove connections using the sidebar or by clicking on a connection line.

Exporting & Importing Maps

• Use the toolbar to export your map as JSON or PNG.
• Import a map by clicking the import button and selecting a JSON file.
• Save/load maps to/from your browser’s local storage.

Toolbar Reference

• Export/Import: Save/load maps as JSON.
• Save/Load Local: Store maps in your browser.
• Set/Remove Background: Add a background image for tracing.
• Undo/Redo: Step backward/forward in your changes.
• Export PNG: Save a high-quality image of your map.
• Palette: Change continent color palettes.
• Toggles: Show/hide territory names and continent colors for professional exports.

Pan & Zoom

• Hold Space and drag to pan the map.
• Use the mouse wheel to zoom in/out.
• Click the reset button to return to the default view.
