JetBrains Toolbox generates .desktop files using an icon name that contains a UUID. For example, IntelliJ IDEA is registered as:
Icon=jetbrains-idea-8b6042f6-d820-4709-a48a-38006f9c74e3
Other JetBrains products follow the same pattern. For example, RustRover uses:
Icon=jetbrains-rustrover-18a9bef3-aeb6-4cef-a840-936fe1e88301
Papirus already provides an alias for RustRover:
jetbrains-rustrover.svg
so its icon is correctly displayed when using the Papirus icon theme.
However, Papirus does not currently provide the equivalent jetbrains-idea.svg alias for IntelliJ IDEA. As a result, IntelliJ IDEA installed through JetBrains Toolbox does not get its Papirus icon.
Would it be possible to add a jetbrains-idea.svg alias pointing to the existing IntelliJ IDEA icon, similarly to the existing jetbrains-rustrover.svg alias?
This would allow IntelliJ IDEA installations managed by JetBrains Toolbox to use the Papirus icon without duplicating the SVG.
