HBK Device Discovery

Overview

HBK Device Discovery is a desktop application that allows users to scan, discover, and configure HBK devices across their local network. Built with Electron, this application provides a native desktop experience while maintaining the reliability and features of the original web application.

Installation

1. Go to Releases on GitHub
2. Download the appropriate installation package:
   • Windows: HBK.Device.Discovery-[version].Setup.exe
   • macOS: HBK.Device.Discovery-darwin-arm64-[version].zip
   • Linux: electron-scan_[version]_amd64.deb
3. Run the installer

Basic Usage

1. Launch the application from your desktop
2. You can: Use the filters, select any device to view its details, configure devices and pin favourite devices.

Troubleshoot

If the application has been installed in windows and no devices are shown in the app, make sure the HBK device Discovery app is not being blocked by the windows firewall.
