Minimal void linux setup (wayland + hyprland)

🚀 Getting Started

git clone https://github.com/FelipeIzolan/mi.void.git
cd mi.void
./setup.sh

Warning

1. The script will overwrite the ~/.config directory.
2. Reboot your computer after installation.

Starting

By default, no display manager is used, so to start the compositor, in tty:

$ dbus-run-session hyprland

• wayland
• hyprland - Wayland compositor.
• waybar - Wayland Bar.
• foot - Terminal.
• fuzzel - Application Launcher.
• wbg - Wallpaper Application.

⌨️ Mappings

• <W-q> - Kill.
• <W-F> - Toggle Fullscreen.
• <W-V> - Toggle Floating.
• <W-Return> - Open terminal (foot).
• <W-Space> - Open Application Launcher (fuzzel).
• <W-1> - Change to workspace 1.
• <W-2> - Change to workspace 2.
• <W-3> - Change to workspace 3.
• <W-4> - Change to workspace 4.
• <W-S-1> - Send to workspace 1 and follow.
• <W-S-2> - Send to workspace 2 and follow.
• <W-S-3> - Send to workspace 3 and follow.
• <W-S-4> - Send to workspace 4 and follow.

<W> is Super (WinKey);
<S> is Shift;
