OrbitOps is a sophisticated space situational awareness (SSA) platform designed for the modern era of space operations. It provides an immersive, real-time 3D interface to track satellite orbits, coupled with a powerful analysis engine that automatically assesses collision risks and calculates optimal avoidance maneuvers.

From managing a single satellite to overseeing a whole constellation, OrbitOps transforms complex astrodynamics into clear, actionable intelligence, empowering operators to protect their valuable assets in orbit.

  • 📊 Data-Rich Insights: Select any satellite to view a detailed dashboard of its current orbital parameters, including altitude, velocity, inclination, and precise geographic location.

How It Works

  • Dual-Backend Architecture: The platform is built on a robust architecture that separates user-facing services from intensive data processing. This separation of concerns ensures both a responsive user experience and powerful, uninterrupted analysis.
  • Primary Backend: Manages user authentication, company profiles, and the satellite assets you are tracking.
  • Dedicated Analysis Engine: A powerful second backend, built with the Orbit Observation Toolkit (OOTK), handles all heavy computational tasks. This includes ingesting public satellite data, performing collision risk analysis, and calculating avoidance maneuvers.
  • Seamless Integration: The two backends work in concert, allowing the user interface to remain fast and interactive while the analysis engine continuously crunches complex orbital data in the background.
