Gaussian splat unit test failure - Spherical Harmonic specular #13119
Description
Running locally on MacOS, I see the following failing unit test:

Just as another data point this test is also failing on my Linux system (Kubuntu 25.04) with exactly the same "incorrect" values.

Same on Windows. Not sure if this ever passed, or what may have changed in the last 5 months. The reason is probably that the scene has to be rendered 101 times, and not only 100 times 🤡
A bit more seriously: When setting breakpoints at the right places and adding the 'debug canvas' parameters as in

one can see the rendered result...
which is expected to be "yellow" at this point.
The data set should be replaced with the slightly more "predictable" one from #12790 (comment) so that the orientations and intended colors are clearer.

I'm no longer seeing this. The view that should look like a "dark yellow" (but looked cyan, as shown in the previous screenshot) now looks like this:
We could still consider to replace the test data set from the specs with a "nicer, more predictable" one. But the main issue seems to be resolved.
(Maybe @ggetz or @jjspace want to test it on Mac or Linux, but I assume that it will be the same as on Windows)
